Ok so what your gonna need

Recomended to have over 75% of battery left before starting

Normal 3.6v 1800mAh Battery Pack for the PSP 1000 (Phat)


Box cuter or a really sharp knife.



Ok so get your knife and start gently but deeply cutting the left side join of the battery pack



Then do the same for the bottem join of your battery pack



Then lastly do the top but not the connecting part, do these all gently you do not want to cut your mother board it will break very easy



Then gently but firmly start to lift of the top housing of the battery pack, if it is still rigid repeat the steps, i used a very small screw driver and got under the housing and lifted it off but it can be very risky so its best to just keep hacking at the sides.

This is what you should get once youve lifted it off



THE TRICKY PART

Once your in look to the bottem right of your battery pack and find a black chip with the number ico4 on the right side



CUT THE WIRE OPPISITE THE 4 ON ICO4 DO NOT DO ANY OTHER ITS VITAL!!

Then gently cut the wire that is showed in the picture. Try not to touch anythink else when your cutting with say a knife as the electric will run through the metal and touch another component and spark, hold it there for too long and your fry the battery so its best to use somthing non metal.
Once the wire has been broken away from either the chip or the board tuk it in or take it out so it doesnt touch anythink else!

then place the battery pack back on and tape it if you want.



After completing these steps you can go on to make a mms (Magic Memory Stick) CFW (Probs the best but is the hardest to do.)

I did it the pics on my phone i might do it after school ninja, and i no theres easyer methods but this is the hard mod and i know this works.

Yeah but it cost money to buy so why not do it your self. and have you ever upgraded pixel cus im on d3 so does it work and what are the benefits?
